Description
This bacon cheeseburger queso dip recipe is creamy, meaty, cheesy, and perfect for parties or game day. Packed with seasoned beef, crispy bacon, and melty cheese, it’s everything you love in a dip—quick, bold, and crowd-pleasing.
Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
½ lb cooked bacon, crumbled
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
½ cup cream cheese
½ cup sour cream
½ cup milk
1 tablespoon taco seasoning
½ teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon onion powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley to garnish
Tortilla chips for dipping
Instructions
1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until fully browned. Use a spatula to break it apart as it cooks. Once it’s no longer pink, drain off any excess fat.
2. Sprinkle in the taco seasoning, garlic powder, and onion powder. Stir well so the beef is evenly coated in flavor. Let it cook for another 1–2 minutes, then remove from heat.
3. In a separate saucepan over low heat, melt the cream cheese gently. Once softened, add the sour cream and milk, stirring constantly until smooth.
4. Slowly add in the shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheeses, stirring until completely melted and creamy. Don’t rush this step—let the cheeses blend into that rich base.
5. Fold in the seasoned beef and crumbled bacon. Stir to combine. Taste and adjust with salt and pepper if needed.
6. Spoon into a bowl, garnish with fresh parsley and extra bacon, and serve hot with tortilla chips.
Notes
Make it ahead and keep warm in a slow cooker.
Add jalapeños for extra heat or diced pickles for a cheeseburger-style twist.
Leftovers can be refrigerated and reheated gently over low heat with a splash of milk.
