Ingredients
→ Beef Layer
- 450 grams ground beef (80/20 blend)
- 1/2 medium yellow onion, diced
- 1 tablespoon fresh garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon seasoned salt
→ Sauce & Rice
- 225 milliliters tomato sauce
- 60 milliliters ketchup
- 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
- 320 grams instant rice
- 480 milliliters beef broth
→ Finishing & Assembly
- 120 grams cooked bacon, chopped
- 110 grams sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
Instructions
1. Heat skillet, brown beef and onion for 6–8 minutes.
2. Add garlic, sauté briefly, season with seasoned salt, drain excess fat.
3. Stir in tomato sauce, ketchup, mustard, rice, and broth. Simmer until rice is tender.
4. Remove from heat, stir in half the bacon and cheese until melted.
5. Grease ring mold, press rice mix, add bacon and cheese in center, top with more rice, finish with bacon and cheddar.
6. Cover, let melt, release mold, serve hot.
Notes
For a healthier version, use ground turkey, brown rice, and light cheese.
For a plant-based option, try Impossible meat, vegan cheese, and veggie bacon.
For a breakfast stack, add a hash brown base and fried egg on top.
