Description
A bold, satisfying BBQ Bacon Ranch BLT made with turkey bacon, ranch, cheddar, and crisp veggies on brioche buns perfect for high-protein lunch recipes or budget-friendly family sandwiches.
Ingredients
6 slices thick-cut turkey bacon
2 tablespoons BBQ sauce (smoky, sweet, or spicy)
4 slices cheddar cheese (optional)
4 slices fresh tomato (firm and ripe)
1 cup shredded lettuce (iceberg or romaine)
2 tablespoons ranch dressing
2 brioche buns (or sandwich rolls), split and toasted
1 teaspoon butter (for bun toasting)
Instructions
1. Heat a skillet over medium. Add turkey bacon and cook 6–8 minutes until nearly crisp. Brush both sides with BBQ sauce. Cook an additional 1–2 minutes, flipping once, until bacon is glossy and caramelized. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to drain.
2. Butter the cut side of each bun. Toast in a skillet (cut side down) or under the broiler until golden and crisp.
3. Place 2 slices of cheddar cheese on the bottom half of each bun. Broil for 1–2 minutes until melted and bubbly.
4. Start with the melted cheese (if using). Add 3 slices of BBQ-glazed turkey bacon. Layer 2 tomato slices. Add a handful of shredded lettuce. Drizzle with 1 tablespoon ranch. Top with the other bun.
5. Serve warm. Optional: serve with extra ranch or BBQ sauce for dipping.
Notes
Use thick-cut turkey bacon for maximum flavor.
Brioche buns toast beautifully and hold the saucy layers.
Great with sweet potato fries or a green salad.
