Description
A creamy, spicy, and comforting Cajun beef linguine with Velveeta and Parmesan cheese sauce. Quick to make and family-friendly.
Ingredients
1½ lbs ground beef
12 oz linguine pasta
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp smoked paprika
Salt & black pepper
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp unsalted butter
¾ cup chicken broth
1 cup heavy cream
6 oz Velveeta cheese, cubed
¾ cup grated Parmesan
½ cup shredded mozzarella (optional)
2 tbsp cream cheese
Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the linguine until just al dente (9–11 minutes). Drain and reserve ½ cup pasta water.
2. In a skillet, heat olive oil. Brown ground beef. Season with Cajun spice, garlic powder, paprika, salt, pepper. Add garlic last.
3. Remove beef. Melt butter in same pan. Add broth, cream, Velveeta, Parmesan, mozzarella, cream cheese. Stir until smooth.
4. Return beef and pasta to skillet. Toss in sauce. Add pasta water if needed to loosen.
5. Serve hot, topped with parsley and more Parmesan if desired.
Notes
Store leftovers in airtight container up to 3 days.
Reheat with a splash of milk or broth to revive sauce.
