Description

Golden, crispy rollups filled with melty cheese and brushed with garlic butter. An easy snack or party hit!


Ingredients

→ For the Rollups

 8 slices white or whole wheat sandwich bread, crusts removed
 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese, optional

→ For the Garlic Butter

 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
 2 cloves garlic, minced
 1/2 tsp garlic powder
 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley or 1 tsp dried parsley
 1/4 tsp salt

→ Optional Dipping Sauces

 Marinara sauce
 Garlic herb sauce
 Ranch dressing
 Spicy ketchup

Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat and set aside.

Using a rolling pin, gently flatten each slice of bread until thin and even. This helps the rollups stay sealed and crispy.

Sprinkle mozzarella and cheddar cheese evenly across the bottom third of each bread slice. Roll the bread tightly from the cheese side up to form a log. Seal the edge with a little melted butter if needed.

In a small bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, garlic powder, parsley, and salt. Mix well to infuse the butter with flavor.

Place each rollup seam-side down on the baking sheet. Brush generously with garlic butter. Bake for 12–15 minutes or until golden brown and crispy on the outside. If using an air fryer, cook at 360°F (180°C) for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway.

Let cool for a minute, then serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.

Use soft bread to ensure easy rolling and seamless cheese retention.

Seal edges tightly with a bit of melted butter to avoid unrolling.

Avoid overfilling to prevent cheese leakage during baking.
