Description

Golden, crispy Crab Rangoon Bombs with creamy crab and cheese filling. Perfect for easy seafood appetizer recipes, quick and cheap party snacks, and holiday party finger foods.


Ingredients

1 pkg cream cheese

2 cups shredded mozzarella

2 cans crab meat, drained

1 cup imitation crab, flaked

5 green onions, chopped

Salt to taste

Panko breadcrumbs

2 eggs, beaten

Vegetable oil for frying


Instructions

1. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, mozzarella, crab, imitation crab, onions, and salt. Chill 30 minutes.

2. Shape mixture into half-dollar sized balls.

3. Dip each ball in egg, then roll in panko until covered.

4. Heat oil to 350°F. Fry bombs until golden and crisp. Drain on paper towels.

5. Serve hot with dipping sauces like sweet chili or garlic soy.


Notes

Freeze uncooked bombs up to 1 month, fry from frozen for best crunch.

Air fry alternative: 350°F for 6–8 minutes.

For a lighter version, use reduced-fat cream cheese.

For keto, replace breadcrumbs with almond flour or crushed pork rinds.
