Description

Crispy, cheesy, bacon-packed onion ring bombs that bring burger night into snack territory. Perfect for parties, high-protein snacking, or just because you crave bold, deep-fried flavor at home.


Ingredients

1 large onion

1 lb ground beef

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled

1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

1 tsp garlic powder

½ tsp salt

½ tsp black pepper

1 cup all-purpose flour

2 large eggs, beaten

2 cups breadcrumbs

Oil for frying


Instructions

1. Cut the onion into thick rings and separate into large and small rings.

2. Mix ground beef, garlic powder, Worcestershire, salt, pepper, cheese, and crumbled bacon in a bowl.

3. Take a large onion ring and pack in the beef mixture. Seal with a smaller onion ring.

4. Dredge each stuffed ring in flour, then dip in beaten eggs, and coat with breadcrumbs.

5. Heat oil to 350°F (175°C) in a deep skillet.

6. Fry each ring bomb for 4–5 minutes per side until golden brown and crisp.

7. Drain on paper towels and serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.


Notes

Make ahead tip: Freeze the stuffed, breaded rings before frying and cook straight from frozen.

Pair with ranch, spicy ketchup, or burger sauce for dipping.

Use air fryer at 390°F for 12 minutes if avoiding deep frying.
