Description
Cucumber ranch crack salad is cold, creamy, and packed with bacon, shredded cheddar, dill, and green onions. A perfect side dish for summer gatherings or easy lunches.
Ingredients
2–3 cups sliced cucumbers
½ cup ranch dressing
½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
⅓ cup cooked and crumbled bacon
2 tbsp chopped green onions
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp dried dill (or to taste)
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Step 1: Wash, Slice, and Soften Slice the cucumbers thin peel if you want a softer bite, or leave the skin for that fresh crunch.
Step 2: Mix the Creamy Base In a bowl, stir together the ranch, garlic powder, dill, salt, and pepper. It should be smooth, tangy, and full of that ranch goodness.
Step 3: Toss It All Together Pour the dressing over the cucumbers. Add cheddar, bacon, and green onions. Gently toss until every slice shines.
Step 4 (Optional): Chill and Breathe Let it chill for 15–20 minutes. The flavors come alive. The salad firms up. The moment gets better.
Notes
Use English cucumbers for fewer seeds.
Pre-cooked bacon bits work for convenience.
Add tomatoes or peppers for variation. Tzatziki and feta make a great Greek twist.
