This Easy Pecan Pie Dump Cake is rich, buttery, and gooey with the classic flavor of pecan pie—made with pantry staples and ready in under an hour.
Ingredients
For the Dump Cake Base:
1 box yellow cake mix
1 cup pecans, chopped
1 cup unsalted butter, melted
For the Filling:
4 large eggs
1 cup corn syrup
1 cup brown sugar, packed
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the corn syrup, brown sugar, melted butter, eggs, vanilla extract, and salt. Whisk until well combined.
3. Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the mixture in the baking dish.
4. Pour the corn syrup mixture over the cake mix, making sure to cover it evenly.
5. Sprinkle the chopped pecans on top of the mixture.
6. Bake in the preheated oven for 45–50 minutes, or until the edges are golden and the center is set.
7. Allow to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream if desired.
Notes
Substitute walnuts or almonds if pecans aren’t available.
Use dark corn syrup for a richer, deeper flavor.
Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 4 days and reheat before serving.
