Description
A gooey, fruity cake packed with cream cheese, strawberries, coconut, and white chocolate—made easy with cake mix and one bowl.
Ingredients
1 box white cake mix
Ingredients required by cake mix (usually water, oil, and eggs)
1 cup strawberries, chopped
1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
4 cups powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup coconut flakes
1/2 cup white chocolate chips
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13 baking dish.
2. Prepare cake batter according to box directions. Fold in strawberries. Pour into dish.
3. Beat cream cheese, melted butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
4. Drop spoonfuls of cream cheese mixture over batter. Don’t swirl.
5. Sprinkle with coconut and white chocolate chips.
6. Bake 40–45 minutes until top is cracked and golden. Let cool.
Notes
Don’t swirl the cream cheese mixture—let it sink naturally.
Great warm or chilled. Freezes well in individual squares.
