Description

Garlic Butter Beef Rollups are quick, cheesy, and family-friendly. Wrapped in crescent dough, filled with savory beef, and brushed with garlic butter

Ingredients

For the Beef Filling:

1 pound ground beef

½ teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon black pepper

½ teaspoon garlic powder

½ teaspoon onion powder

½ cup yellow onion, diced

1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded

For the Dough and Topping:

1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough

2 tablespoons butter, melted

1 teaspoon garlic powder (for butter)

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or give it a light coating of cooking spray to prevent sticking.

In a large skillet, cook ground beef and diced onions over medium heat for about 8–10 minutes, until beef is browned and onions are soft. Season with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder while it cooks. Drain the grease and let it cool slightly.

Once cooled a bit, stir in the shredded cheddar cheese. This way, the cheese binds everything without becoming oily or separating.

Unroll your crescent dough and separate it into 8 triangles. Spoon a heaping tablespoon of the beef mixture onto the wide end of each triangle.

Roll up each crescent, starting from the wide end and working toward the point, encasing all that cheesy beef goodness. Place seam-side down on your prepared baking sheet.

Mix melted butter and garlic powder, then brush generously over the tops. This is where that garlic butter sauce for steak flavor vibe really shines.

Bake for 12–15 minutes until golden brown and cooked through. Sprinkle with parsley for a pop of color.

Notes

Cool completely before storing to prevent sogginess.

Reheat in the oven or air fryer to restore crisp texture.

Pairs perfectly with ranch, spicy ketchup, or garlic butter sauce.
