These homemade chocolate graham crackers are buttery, crisp, and cocoa-rich—perfect for s’mores, snacking, or dessert crusts.
Ingredients
2.5 cups all-purpose flour
0.5 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
0.5 teaspoon salt
7 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
1 cup granulated sugar plus 1 tablespoon
6 tablespoons milk
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
3. In another bowl, beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
4. Add milk and vanilla extract to butter mixture. Mix well.
5. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture and mix until dough forms.
6. Roll dough between parchment to ⅛-inch thick. Cut into rectangles and poke with fork.
7. Transfer to baking sheets and bake 10–12 minutes. Let cool completely.
Notes
You can use cookie cutters for fun shapes. For crunchier crackers, bake on the longer end of the suggested time.
