Ingredients
8 ounces egg noodles
1 pound ground beef
1 small onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup (10.75 ounces)
1 cup sour cream
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
1 can tomato sauce (8 ounces)
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon dried thyme
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish; set aside.
2. Cook the egg noodles until al dente. Drain and set aside.
3. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat.
4. Add chopped onion and minced garlic. Cook 3–4 minutes until soft.
5. Stir in mushroom soup, sour cream, 1 cup cheddar, tomato sauce, Worcestershire, thyme, salt, and pepper. Mix until cheese melts.
6. Add noodles to the skillet and coat well.
7. Transfer to baking dish. Top with remaining cheese.
8. Bake 25–30 minutes until hot and golden.
9. Serve warm.
