Sweet, smoky, and savory this Honey Garlic Bacon Chicken is my skillet hug in dinner form. Crisp bacon, juicy chicken, and a glossy honey-garlic glaze make this a weeknight hero.
Ingredients
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
6 slices thick-cut bacon, chopped
½ cup flour (for dredging)
1 tsp salt
1/8 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp olive oil
6 cloves garlic, minced
⅓ cup honey
¼ cup soy sauce
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
Fresh parsley, chopped (garnish)
Instructions
1. Cook chopped bacon over medium heat until golden and crispy. Remove, leaving 1 tbsp bacon grease in the skillet.
2. Season chicken with salt and pepper, dredge lightly in flour, and sear in olive oil until golden, 4–5 minutes per side. Remove and keep warm.
3. In the same skillet, sauté garlic for 1 minute. Stir in honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, and Dijon mustard. Simmer until glossy.
4. Return chicken and bacon to the pan. Spoon sauce over each piece and simmer 2–3 minutes.
5. Top with parsley and serve straight from the skillet or over creamy mashed potatoes.
Notes
