Description

This iced honeydew mint tea is a naturally sweet, fruity green tea blend made with real honeydew melon, fresh mint, and just the right chill. A refreshing sip for summer days.

Ingredients

Scale

4 cups water

4 green tea bags

2 cups honeydew melon, diced

1/2 cup fresh mint leaves (plus extra for garnish)

46 tbsp sugar (adjust to taste)

Ice cubes

Instructions

1. Steep the green tea in hot water for 3–5 minutes. Remove tea bags and let cool to room temperature.

2. Blend diced honeydew and mint leaves until smooth.

3. Stir sugar into the warm tea until dissolved. Adjust to taste.

4. Once cooled, pour the tea into a pitcher with the honeydew-mint puree and stir.

5. Serve over ice and garnish with extra mint leaves.

Notes

For a lighter version, skip the sugar and use very ripe melon.

You can brew the tea the night before and chill it for an extra cold serve.

Green tea pairs beautifully, but white or mint tea also works well.
