Description
Island Whirl Cocktail is a vibrant, frozen slush drink made with coconut rum, blue curaçao, pineapple juice, and swirled tropical fruit layers. It’s a fun, colorful cocktail for summer parties and beach vibes.
Ingredients
3 oz coconut rum
1 oz blue curaçao
2 oz pineapple juice
1 cup crushed ice
Optional: 1 oz peach schnapps
Optional: 1/2 cup frozen mango chunks or strawberries
Garnish: kiwi slices, pineapple leaves or wedges, striped paper straws
Instructions
1. Blend coconut rum, pineapple juice, and crushed ice until smooth. Divide into two or three bowls.
2. Mix blue curaçao into one portion for the blue layer.
3. Blend peach schnapps and frozen mango into another for the orange-peach layer.
4. Blend strawberries or add grenadine to the last for a pink layer.
5. Spoon or pour each layer into clear plastic cups slowly to create swirl effect.
6. Garnish with kiwi, pineapple, and a striped straw. Serve immediately.
Notes
To keep the layers distinct, chill the glasses first and spoon in slush gently. Use frozen fruit for best consistency. For a non-alcoholic version, use coconut water and blue sports drink.
