Description

This Kool Aid snowcone recipe is the perfect summer treat—bright, fruity, and icy. Made with crushed ice, lemon-lime soda, and Kool-Aid syrup, it’s fun for kids and nostalgic for adults.

Ingredients

Scale

2 cups finely crushed or shaved ice

1/2 cup lemon-lime soda (Sprite or 7UP)

1 tablespoon Kool-Aid powder (any flavor)

1/4 cup simple syrup (optional, for added sweetness)

1/4 cup water (to mix with Kool-Aid powder)

Instructions

1. In a small bowl, mix Kool-Aid powder with 1/4 cup water and simple syrup (if using) until fully dissolved.

2. Crush 2 cups of ice using a blender or food processor until it’s fine and fluffy.

3. Divide shaved ice into 4 snowcone cups and shape slightly.

4. Pour 2 tablespoons of lemon-lime soda over each cone.

5. Drizzle Kool-Aid syrup generously over each snowcone.

6. Serve immediately with a spoon or straw.

Notes

Use any Kool-Aid flavor you like. Make it sugar-free by skipping the syrup or replacing it with a sugar-free alternative. Store extra syrup in the fridge for up to 5 days.
