Description
Lazy Cat Cake is a no-bake, chocolate biscuit dessert layered with whipped cream and ganache. Chill it and slice into comfort.
Ingredients
200g plain tea biscuits (or graham crackers)
1 cup milk
2 tbsp cocoa powder
1/4 cup sweetened condensed milk
1/2 cup cold heavy cream
1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
1/4 cup cream cheese (optional)
1 tbsp cocoa powder (for garnish)
1/2 cup chocolate cereal or puffed rice (optional for topping)
Instructions
1. In a bowl, whisk milk, cocoa powder, and condensed milk until smooth.
2. Dip biscuits briefly in the cocoa milk and layer in a dish.
3. Whip the cream (add cream cheese if using) until soft peaks form.
4. Spread a layer of whipped cream over biscuits.
5. Repeat layers until ingredients are used.
6. Melt chocolate chips with a splash of cream and pour over the top.
7. Add chocolate cereal mix if using, then dust with cocoa powder.
8. Chill at least 4 hours or overnight before slicing.
Notes
Use espresso instead of milk for a mocha twist.
Crushed biscuits work well instead of whole layers.
Add crushed nuts or orange zest for variation.
