Description

These Lemon Garlic Chicken Bites are quick, juicy, and bursting with buttery garlic and citrus flavor. Perfect for healthy meal prep recipes, high protein chicken bites for weight loss, or quick weeknight chicken dinners.


Ingredients

1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces

1 tsp dried oregano

1 tsp dried basil

2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

1 tsp kosher salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

3 tbsp unsalted butter, divided

3 cloves garlic, minced

2 tbsp fresh lemon juice


Instructions

1. In a bowl, mix oregano, basil, parsley, salt, and pepper. Toss chicken until coated.

2. Heat a skillet over medium heat and melt half of the butter. Add chicken in a single layer and cook for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and nearly cooked through.

3. Add the remaining butter to the skillet. Once melted, stir in minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.

4. Drizzle lemon juice over the chicken and stir to coat evenly with the sauce.

5. Remove from heat and serve immediately while hot and aromatic.


Notes

Add red pepper flakes or cayenne for a spicy kick.

Substitute butter with olive oil for a dairy-free version.

Fresh parsley can be swapped with dill or cilantro.
