Description

These Maple Bacon Cheeseburger Quesadillas are the perfect mix of sweet and savory—crispy, cheesy, and packed with maple-glazed beef and bacon. A fast, kid-friendly dinner idea ready in 30 minutes.

Ingredients

For the filling:

1 tablespoon olive oil

½ pound ground beef

1 teaspoon garlic powder

½ teaspoon onion powder

Salt and pepper, to taste

6 slices bacon, cooked crispy and chopped

1 tablespoon pure maple syrup

½ cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese

For assembling:

4 large flour tortillas

1 tablespoon butter or oil (for frying)

Chopped parsley (optional)

Instructions

1.In a skillet over medium heat, warm the olive oil. Add the ground beef, breaking it apart as it cooks about 6–8 minutes until fully browned. Drain any excess fat.

2. Stir in garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and maple syrup. Let it simmer 1–2 minutes until slightly caramelized.

3. Remove from heat. Stir in the chopped bacon while it’s still hot.

4. On one half of each tortilla, sprinkle a mix of cheddar and mozzarella. Spoon the maple bacon beef mixture over the cheese, then top with another layer of cheese.

5. Fold tortillas over to create a half-moon shape.

6. In a clean skillet (a reliable non-stick skillet for burgers works perfectly), melt butter over medium heat. Toast each quesadilla 2–3 minutes per side until golden and the cheese is melted through.

7. Let rest for 1 minute. Slice into wedges. Garnish with chopped parsley if you like.

Notes

Use your favorite cheese blends.

Try it with hot sauce or BBQ sauce for a flavor kick.

Pairs perfectly with ranch, ketchup, or maple mayo.
