Ingredients
1 pound ground beef
1 cup pizza sauce
1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
6 burger buns, halved
1 1/2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment.
2. In a skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef. Drain excess fat.
3. Stir in Italian seasoning and pizza sauce. Let simmer until slightly thickened.
4. Arrange bun halves cut-side up on the baking sheet.
5. Spoon beef mixture onto each bottom bun and top with shredded cheddar.
6. Bake for 12 minutes until cheese is bubbly and buns crisp slightly.
7. Top with remaining bun halves, let cool a minute, and serve warm.
