Description

A creamy, crunchy, chocolatey layered dessert made healthier with light ingredients. This no-bake-style fridge treat is perfect for families and holiday tables.

Ingredients

1/2 cup margarine, melted

1 cup chopped pecans

1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs

1 (8 oz) package cream cheese

1 cup confectioners’ sugar

4 cups frozen whipped topping, thawed

1 (3.9 oz) package instant chocolate pudding mix

1 (3.4 oz) package instant vanilla pudding mix

3 cups milk

1 (1 oz) square unsweetened chocolate, melted

Instructions

Step 1 : Make the crust
In a medium bowl, mix melted margarine, graham cracker crumbs, and chopped pecans. Press evenly into a 9×13-inch baking pan.

Step 2 : Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20 minutes until lightly golden. Let cool completely.

Step 3 : Prepare the cream cheese layer
Beat cream cheese and confectioners’ sugar until smooth. Gently fold in 1 cup of whipped topping. Spread over the cooled crust.

Step 4 : Mix puddings
In separate bowls or combined, whisk chocolate and vanilla instant puddings with milk until smooth. Let sit 5–10 minutes to thicken.
Pour evenly over the cream cheese layer.

Step 5 : Top with whipped topping
Spread remaining 3 cups of whipped topping on top. Swirl in the melted unsweetened chocolate for a marbled finish.

Step 6 : Chill and serve
Cover the pan and refrigerate for 1 hour (or overnight). Slice, serve chilled, and enjoy. Store leftovers frozen in a tightly covered container just thaw and slice as needed.

Notes

Use almond milk or sugar-free pudding for a lighter version.

Can be made 1–2 days ahead and stored chilled or frozen.
