Ingredients

Crust:

1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs

¼ cup granulated sugar

½ cup unsalted butter, melted

Brownie Layer:

½ cup unsalted butter

½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

½ cup granulated sugar

¼ cup brown sugar

2 large eggs

1 tsp vanilla extract

¼ cup all-purpose flour

2 tbsp cocoa powder

Pinch of salt

¼ tsp baking powder

Caramel Layer:

½ cup caramel sauce

¼ tsp sea salt (optional)

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch pie dish.

2. In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Press into the dish and bake for 8–10 minutes. Let cool.

3. Melt butter and chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 20-second intervals until smooth.

4. In a large bowl, whisk granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla until fully blended.

5. Sift in flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder. Gently fold into the wet mixture.

6. Spread half the batter into the crust. Drizzle caramel sauce, sprinkle salt if using, then top with remaining batter.

7. Bake for 25–30 minutes until the center is just set. Let cool before slicing.

8. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or a drizzle of extra caramel.

Notes

Let the pie cool fully to prevent caramel from running.

Use flaky sea salt for extra flavor contrast.

Make it ahead the flavor deepens the next day.
