Description
Watermelon Lemon Drop Shots are refreshing, fruity, and topped with a sparkling blue sugar rim. Made with real watermelon juice, lemon vodka, and a citrusy kick, they’re perfect for summer parties or mocktail fun.
Ingredients
1½ cups fresh watermelon juice (from blended and strained seedless watermelon)
½ cup lemon vodka (or lemonade for a mocktail version)
1–2 tablespoons simple syrup (adjust based on watermelon sweetness)
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
Ice (for shaking)
For rimming & garnish:
Corn syrup or lemon juice (to rim the glasses)
Blue sanding sugar
Lemon wedges or mini watermelon wedges (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
1. Pour corn syrup or lemon juice onto a plate. Dip shot glass rims, then coat in blue sanding sugar. Let set.
2. Blend seedless watermelon and strain until smooth. Measure out 1½ cups juice.
3. In a cocktail shaker, add watermelon juice, lemon vodka, lemon juice, and simple syrup. Add ice and shake for 10–15 seconds.
4. Strain into prepared glasses and garnish with lemon or mini watermelon wedges.
5. Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
Swap lemon vodka for lemonade to make a mocktail.
Use Tajín or chili salt to add a spicy twist.
Prepare juice and rim glasses ahead—just shake and pour when ready.
